The annual Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble is a U.S. Track & Field certified five kilometer race that winds through historic downtown Charleston and out to the peninsula.
The annual Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble is a U.S. Track & Field certified five kilometer race that winds through historic downtown Charleston and out to the peninsula. Marked by beautiful scenery and historic landmarks, the majority of the course is flat - descending slightly in the first half of the race to the peninsula and then rising on the return route.
IMPORTANT! Due to the growing size of the Turkey Day Run (3rd largest in the US) there will no longer be Race Day packet pickup or registration. You will need to pickup your packet the day before the race at the Expo in Marion Square. Someone else may pickup your packet for you or you have the option to select to have your packet mailed during online registration.
New! Strollers are allowed in the Gobble Wobble category. This is the last corral of the Start Line. You must lineup behind the walkers. You may not run with a stroller.
Dogs are NOT allowed on the race course!

You must sign up for mailing & pay the fee during registration. Deadline for packet mailing is November 1st. The first wave of packets will be mailed the week of November 6th.
Individuals – $12 per mail packet
The Race Expo will be Wednesday, November 27th from 9am – 6pm. Packet pick-up is at the tent on the Northeast side of Marion Square, adjacent to Embassy Suites (337 Meeting St.).
7:00am – 8:30am- Troubleshooting and questions under the tent in Marion Square
8:00am – Runners begin to lineup in corrals
8:30am – All runners must be in assigned corral
9:00am- 5K Run & Walk
9:00am- 11:30am – DJ, Beer Garden, and Award announcements
10:30am- Children’s Fun Run
Awards to follow Children’s Fun Run
Top runners will receive a gift card (up to a $500 value)
