In celebration of Fire Prevention Week 2025, October 5th-11th, North Charleston Fire Department is preparing a safety event for this year’s theme “Charge into Fire Safety™: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home.” The campaign stresses how important it is to BUY, CHARGE, and RECYCLE safely when it comes to lithium-ion batteries. Our annual event will be held on Saturday, November 1st from 10 am to 2 pm at the North Charleston Fire Museum
