The City of Charleston Recreation Department is having a free Fun Run at Hampton Park (30 Mary Murray Drive) on Thursday, August 6 from 6-8pm.
Lace up your sneakers and beat the heat at our fun run on Thursday, August 6, 2026 around the Hampton Park loop starting at 6:30 p.m. We will have 1, 2, and 3-mile distances, music, water stations, and post-race snacks. FREE to participate, but please register to let us know what distance you are planning to run. Day of walk up registrations are also welcome and will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the lagoon parking lot.CourseThe course is paved, flat and mostly shaded. One loop around the park equals one mile. Participants can choose to run one, two, or three loops around the park.ParkingThe access roads to Hampton Park and parking lots will close at/shortly before 6:00 p.m. Please give yourself extra time to street park on surrounding side roads if needed.
